I recently participated in a staff retreat where we had the pleasure of having Emily as our chef. Each day she provided very thoughtful and locally sourced meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner - how lucky were we??) including freshly baked bread and pastries, and herbal-infused water and tea. As the only non-meat eater in the group, Emily was incredibly kind to make sure there was an option for me and I never felt like I was missing out on anything. It was so lovely to be able to share a meal as a group several times a day without the stress of sourcing and cooking. Emily was so friendly and was always considerate of the retreat sessions we had going on while she was setting up. We just found her to be such a joy as a person and incredibly talented as a chef. We all felt very spoiled during those few days.

I can't say enough good things about Emily's cooking and her philosophy behind it. She catered our annual company retreat, and we have never been happier! I don't think any of us have ever eaten so well so consistently - which is a high bar, because we are such foodies. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were exceptionally curated with the most incredible meals. The flavors, the presentation, the timing, it was all done so well. Having her personally in the kitchen of the chalet we spent the week in was a real pleasure. Having her around was a treat. And she educated us on the ingredients and their sourcing. It was tough to go back to reality this week after being pampered by such a tremendous chef.

We worked with Emily to provide breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks for our three-day corporate retreat in Ellicottville with eleven guests. From the first moment we spoke on the phone, to her careful and creative menu preparation, to her diligence in meeting me the day before the retreat was to start to check out the kitchen at our AirBnb to ensure that she could come prepared with everything she needed, to every single incredible, delicious meal she prepared us, Emily felt like a dream come true. Her food is elevated while made with love. She went above and beyond with fresh breads and spreads, charcuterie boards, and she kept several beverages (lemon balm water and a berry iced tea) filled at all times for three days. We were beyond well taken care of. She also cleaned up after every meal and helped us package leftovers. When I mentioned that our retreat leader had a birthday coming up, she made a from scratch chocolate cake overnight so we could celebrate her properly. Her estimates and invoices were timely and professionally prepared and her over-delivery on the details (linen napkins, serving utensils, anything we might need) was airtight. She's a true professional while also simply being a joy to be around. I would recommend her without hesitation for any similar group or event.
